Mae’r adran 16 milltir o Lanrath i Skrinkle yn ddiwrnod eithaf heriol yn ei hun, gyda sawl tyle serth, ond mae yna dafarn bob 4 milltir o leiaf, ambell gaffi, ac mae yna sawl opsiwn yn nhref Dinbych-y-pysgod i aros dros nos yn gynnar os yw’r corff neu’r offer yn dioddef.
Cyfyngiadau dros dro i’w hystyried wrth gynllunio pa gyfeiriad i gerdded
Mynediad i feysydd milwrol (gweler adran 13: Freshwater West i Broad Haven South)
Mae dwy ardal hyfforddi filwrol ar hyd arfordir y de, un ym Mhenalun a’r llall yng Nghastellmartin a allai gyfyngu ar fynediad pan fydd tanio yn digwydd. Mae Maes Penalun yn ddargyfeiriad bychan, ychydig yn hirach ar adegau o lanw uchel iawn neu stormydd. Nid yw’r dargyfeiriad hwn yn werth ei gynllunio, dilynwch y gwyriad pan fydd y baneri coch yn chwifio.
Mae Maes Tanio Castellmartin yn agwedd fach ar gynllunio cyfeiriad teithio ond os ydych yn awyddus i aros mor agos at y clogwyni â phosibl, efallai y byddai’n werth amseru’r rhan hon ar gyfer amser pan fydd y maestir ar agor.
Mae’r Maes wedi’i rannu’n dair rhan y gallwch chi ond croesi Maes Tanio’r Gorllewin (nid yw yn dilyn llwybr swyddogol Llwybr yr Arfordir) fel rhan o daith gerdded wedi’i harwain gan arweinwyr hyfforddedig. Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol a Chymdeithas y Cerddwyr sy’n arwain y teithiau hyn. Mae’r teithiau cerdded hyn fel arfer yn mynd o’r dwyrain i’r gorllewin sy’n cyd-fynd yn dda â cherdded Llwybr yr Arfordir o’r de i’r gogledd, ond dim ond am nifer cyfyngedig o ddiwrnodau trwy’r haf y maent ar gael ac mae’r rhan fwyaf o gerddwyr Llwybr yr Arfordir yn dilyn y llwybr swyddogol o amgylch y maes. I gael gwybod am deithiau cerdded tywysedig Maes Tanio’r Gorllewin, ffoniwch Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol (01646 624800) neu ewch i’n wefan digwyddiadau (agor mewn ffenest newydd). Sylwch: bydd y rhan fwyaf o deithiau tywys yn cael eu harchebu misoedd ymlaen llaw felly mae angen i chi cynllunio o ymlaen llaw.
Mae Maes y Dwyrain ar agor fel arfer trwy gydol mis Awst, ar benwythnosau, gwyliau banc a bron bob nos ar ôl tua 4.30pm, ond mae’n well gwirio’r amseroedd gyda’r wybodaeth a gofnodwyd ar 01646 662367 neu ewch i dudalen Tanio Castellmartin (agor mewn ffenest newydd). Mae Maes y Dwyrain wedi’i rannu’n ddwy ran. Weithiau gall y rhan o Staciau’r Heligog (Pont Werdd Cymru) i San Gofan fod ar gau ond efallai y bydd y rhan o Gapel San Gofan i Broad Haven South ar agor ac mae’n werth amseru’ch taith gerdded er mwyn i chi gyrraedd o leiaf un rhan o Faes y Dwyrain.
Os nad yw’r maes ar agor, mae llwybr caniataol a gynhelir gan yr Ystâd Amddiffyn, o’r enw Llwybr Maes Tanio Castellmartin, yn dilyn perimedr y maestir.
