Carew Castle is bracing itself for an invasion by canine companions in the lead up to its Doggy Day Out on Sunday 11 August, which will see pooches and their proud owners take over the dog-friendly site.
There will be a fun dog show for furry friends of all sizes to enter as well as a dog agility course and stalls with treats for pets and owners to get there paws on. There will also be canine-themed crafts for kids.
Visit Carew Castle on Sunday 11 August for a special Doggy Day Out from 10am-4pm!
Carew Castle Manager, Daisy Hughes said: “This day promises to be a delight for dog-lovers and their four-legged friends with activities and events for them all to enjoy.
“Carew Castle is dog friendly all year round; having been named Best Dog Friendly Attraction at the Pembrokeshire Dog Friendly Tourism Awards two years running, but this is a unique opportunity to bring your pets along to celebrate man’s (and woman’s) best friend.”
Normal Castle admission fees apply plus there is a small charge for some activities.
