Fresh from their conquest of Anglesey, soldiers of the Roman Army have come to Castell Henllys to complete their occupation of Wales! Now the battles are over, will they destroy the fort?  Perhaps they will try to encourage the local people to adopt the  Roman way of life and one day become Roman Citizens?
Legio V111 Augusta Roman Living History Society will be providing demonstrations of cooking and crafts from 11am to 4.30pm both days.  Come and see how the Roman Army trained and fought.  Try out a Roman bow, or watch the Legionaries shoot their artillery.  Have your name written in Roman Writing, or have your very own Roman coin made for you.
